Meta Ads MCP by Pipeboard: manage campaigns from an AI assistant
An MCP server that lets an AI assistant manage Meta campaigns end to end, launch, upload creatives, adjust budgets and pull performance, built by a badged Meta Business Partner.
Most Meta ads tooling stops at reporting. Pipeboard's Meta Ads MCP goes further and turns campaign management itself into a set of tool calls an AI assistant can make: launch a campaign, upload creative, adjust a budget, and pull performance back across Facebook and Instagram, all from inside a chat with Claude or Cursor rather than a browser tab in Ads Manager.
Why it made the cut
Pipeboard is a badged Meta Business Partner, which is unusual pedigree in a category mostly built by independent developers, and this server is one entry in a wider family that covers five ad platforms, so it fits a builder who wants the same working pattern reused across accounts. It is also actively maintained rather than a one-off release: the repository carries well over a hundred releases and hundreds of commits, the signature of a tool used in anger rather than shipped once and abandoned.
How to use it
Point an MCP client such as Claude or Cursor at the server, connect it with Meta Marketing API access and credentials, and you can ask the assistant to launch campaigns, upload creatives, adjust budgets and pull performance across Facebook and Instagram directly. Pipeboard also offers a remote hosted MCP option for anyone who would rather not self-host and manage the connection themselves.
Worth knowing
It ships under the Business Source License 1.1, which is honest to flag: it is free to use, modify and self-host, and it converts to Apache-2.0 automatically on 1 January 2029. The only restriction in the meantime is that you cannot resell it as a competing hosted service. For a marketer or agency running it on their own accounts, that restriction never comes into play.
