MarketingSkills: Corey Haines' marketing playbook as open-source Claude Skills

An open-source collection of Claude Skills covering CRO, copywriting, SEO, analytics and growth engineering, built by the founder of Swipe Files.

Claude Skills package a workflow, its instructions, examples, and any supporting files, into something the model can load and run against a real task, rather than a one-off prompt typed fresh each time. This repository takes Corey Haines' marketing playbook, the same material behind his Swipe Files newsletter and courses, and rebuilds it as a set of these skills spanning conversion optimisation, copywriting, SEO and analytics.

Why it made the cut

Haines built Swipe Files into one of the more respected independent growth marketing brands by documenting real tactics rather than repeating platform marketing copy, and this repository is that same body of knowledge adapted for how practitioners increasingly work with AI agents: as reusable, versioned skills rather than prompts re-typed each session. It is tracked and starred across several open-source skills directories, which is a reasonable proxy for practitioners actually finding it useful rather than just discovering it.

How to run it

  1. Clone or browse the repository on GitHub to see which skills are included.
  2. Check the licence before adopting anything into a commercial workflow.
  3. Install the skills you want into your own Claude setup, following the repository's own instructions for skill placement.
  4. Invoke a skill against a real task, a CRO audit, a piece of copy, an analytics question, and compare the output against how you would normally brief that task.

Worth knowing

This is community open-source work, not an official Anthropic release, so quality and maintenance depend on the author and any contributors keeping it current as Claude's Skills format evolves. Read a skill's underlying instructions before trusting its output blind, the same discipline you would apply to any prompt or workflow you did not write yourself.
