I’m a Digital Marketing professional and my name is Maria João Correia. I have more than a decade of experience in the dynamic world of digital marketing. My career has been shaped by diverse experiences across industries, geographies, and cultures, shaping me into a professional with a global vision and a passion for creating impactful campaigns. Although I began my undergraduate degree in Marketing at the Porto Institute of Accounting and Administration, I chose to direct my energy toward practical experiences and projects, which have been fundamental to building my career. I firmly believe that education takes many forms, and my hands-on approach has provided me with the skills and insights necessary to achieve excellence in this field. My professional journey began as a Social Media Intern and evolved into leadership roles, including Director of Paid Search in London and Media Buyer in Luxembourg. This global perspective allows me to combine creativity, data-driven strategies, and cultural sensitivity to achieve measurable results. At the moment, living in the UK, I´m pursuing the Paid Media specialisation and gaining deeper understanding of this field.
